Tow operator Glenn Ewing, 32, died from injuries he received Sunday, July 4, after being struck by a vehicle in Cincinnati, Ohio.
His death was confirmed by the Hamilton County coroner’s office.
According to Cincinnati Police, Ewing was loading a vehicle onto his tow truck late Sunday evening on Rapid Run Pike when a vehicle struck him and the tow truck.
Ewing was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Ewing received minor injuries. Police said driver impairment was not considered to be a factor in the crash.
Tow operators gathered Monday at the offices where Ewing worked and activated the lights on their tow trucks to show their support and raise awareness of Ohio’s Move Over Law.
