Miller Industries Introduces the Century® M65 Rolling Rotator

Miller Industries press release:
Miller Industries, the world’s largest manufacturer of towing and recovery equipment, introduces the Century® M65, a 65-ton rolling rotator engineered to give operators greater reach, strength and flexibility for recoveries from the rear, side or front.
Position the boom, not the truck.
The M65’s rolling turret travels more than 7 feet along the body, allowing operators to reposition the boom without moving the vehicle. With an outrigger stance exceeding 23 feet in width and a maximum boom height of more than 44 feet, the M65 provides a total working area of 5,380 square feet.
Reach, backed by strength.
The M65’s three-stage boom is rated at 130,000 pounds when fully retracted. With the travel base positioned at the rear and the boom at a 30-degree angle, the M65 reaches 25 feet beyond the tailboard while maintaining a lifting capacity of up to 29,000 pounds.
When working off the side, the fully extended boom reaches 29 feet at a 30-degree angle, with a tip-limited rating of 21,100 pounds.
Two 50,000-pound, two-speed planetary main winches, each equipped with 3/4-inch x 250-foot wire rope, complement the boom’s recovery capabilities. Maximum hook height is 532 inches.
Redesigned for versatile recovery.
A completely redesigned 30,000-pound planetary drag winch is available on either the driver or passenger side and features reversible cable routing. The M65 is designed to support recovery operations from the rear, side or front of the wrecker, while optional dual 22,000-pound turret winches provide additional recovery capability.
Raptor® controls standard on every M65.
Miller’s patented Raptor® Control System comes standard on every M65. The controls extend away from the vehicle, giving operators a clearer view of the recovery area, while an integrated information screen provides load-sensing information and lighting controls.
The updated Raptor system includes:
• Zone Control: Independently turn work lights or warning lights on or off on any side of the wrecker.
• Flash Pattern Selection: Customize lighting and flash patterns.
• Updated Lighting Outputs: Integrated load limiting and electronic fusing.
M65 models equipped with an underlift also include the new Gen 2 Flex12 Underlift Remote, providing full proportional control of the underlift, boom, boom travel and winches.
“The M65 was built for the conditions our customers encounter every day, not simply to lead a spec-sheet comparison,” said Will Miller, President and CEO of Miller Industries. “Capacity matters most as the boom extends and the load moves farther away. Hundreds of people in engineering, R&D and manufacturing devoted thousands of hours to this program, creating the most advanced recovery machine Miller Industries has ever built.”
