Police have arrested a man who allegedly hit two tow operators in a hit-and-run incident in the early morning on May 16 on I-35 south of Lakeville, Minn.
The State Patrol said operators Michael Sirek, 39, and Parker Swanson, 23, of Faribault, were working to remove a vehicle from the center median when they were hit.
Police say the vehicle, a black 2006 Lincoln MKZ, was driven by Marlon Fleming, 39, who faces charges of criminal vehicular operation and leaving the scene of a collision. Police say the man was turned in by his father, who called law enforcement when he noticed the damage to the Lincoln Fleming had been driving.
Both operators were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
