Pennsylvania General Assembly Proposes Tougher Penalties for State’s Move Over Law

The Pennsylvania General Assembly has approved stiffer penalties to violators of the state’s Move Over Law.
Senate Bill 1281 would establish a point system for violations, double the fines for a first summary offense and require the Pennsylvania DOT to educate the public regarding the changes. The bill has been sent to the Governor’s office.
