Safety is the focus of the Tow Times June issue. We asked tow operator training organizations how they incorporate safety into their training regimens, and our “Anatomy of a Safe Tow” article offers recommendations to increase safety at roadside scenes. We also look at safety gear options operators can use on the scene to increase visibility in low-light situations, and examine the dangers of vehicles rolling off tilted car carrier beds. In our Recovery Review department, Oklahoma operators come to the rescue when a Cessna pilot needed his airplane transported to a local airport after making an emergency landing on a rural roadway. Find all this and more in the Tow Times June issue.
