Tow Operators Conduct Memorial and Procession for Las Vegas Tow Operator Killed in Hit-And-Run

Dozens of tow operators participated in a memorial and tow truck procession on March 13 for operator Ryan Billotte.

Billotte,  48, who worked for Quality Towing  in North Las Vegas, Nev., was struck and killed the night of March 9 by a hit-and-run driver on the shoulder of the 215 Southern Beltway in Las Vegas.

Police later arrested Colette Despain of Las Vegas as the driver of the white Ford van that struck Billotte.  She is being held on numerous charges.

Tow operators parked their trucks at the Sunset Station hotel-casino to pay their respects, and formed a procession that made its way through Henderson, Nev., to the church where the service was held.
