Texas Tow Operator Dies in Traffic Collision

A Texas tow operator died Tuesday, September 3 from injuries received in a two-vehicle collision in Lubbock.
According to news reports, Patric Barrio, 26, was driving a flatbed car carrier loaded with a vehicle on the deck and wheel-lift when it collided with an SUV at the intersection of Interstate 27 and 19th Street.
Barrio reportedly died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, who was not identified, received minor injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
