Oklahoma Tow Operator Struck and Killed on November 26

An Oklahoma tow operator was struck and killed by a vehicle on the night of November 26 in Wagoner County.
According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, operator John Mills, 31, of Muskogee was loading a car onto a tow truck on U.S. Route 69 when a vehicle driven by Robert Marshall, 76, of Redbird, Okla. struck him.
Marshall’s car rolled after the collision and came to a rest on its roof.
Mills, who worked for Red Beard’s Towing of Muskogee, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Marshall was taken to a hospital with a head injury and later released.
The crash is being investigated. Troopers said it was raining at the time and the roadway was wet.
