Michigan Towing Company Employee Killed in Flatbed Loading Accident

An accident has claimed the life of a Michigan towing company employee.
Daniel Evans, 26, was killed after unloading a forklift at Greenville Steel Sales in Greenville, MI, Saturday morning, January 10.
According to Michigan State Police, Evans and another man, both employees of J&A Towing of Belding, MI, unloaded a forklift at the facility using a flatbed tow truck. When the bed was being raised to its horizontal position, Evans became trapped between the bed and the truck frame on the opposite side of the operator at the controls, who couldn’t see Evans.
Emergency responders performed life-saving measures but Evans was pronounced dead at the scene.
