Louisville, Ky. Police Department Tow Operator Dies After Becoming Trapped Under Tow Truck

The Louisville (Kentucky) Metro Police Department (LMPD) is investigating the death of one of its civilian tow truck drivers who was killed Tuesday morning, Dec.31, while attempting to tow an abandoned pick-up from the side of Interstate I-64 west in Louisville.
According to an LMPD spokesman the incident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. While hooking up to the pick-up the operator became trapped under his tow truck and died from injuries he received.
The name of the operator has yet not been released.
