Connecticut Tow Operator Killed in Hit-and-Run on Interstate 95

A tow operator was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Saturday, May 21, as he assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on Interstate 91 in North Haven, Conn.
News reports state the operator pulled over to the side of the roadway to lend assistance to the motorist and a passing vehicle hit him.
CPR was administered, but the operator, who has yet to be identified, later died from his injuries.
The vehicle that struck the operator was found a short time later in Wallingford, Conn.
There has been no news of arrests made in the incident.
