The Evolved CSR65 From NRC Industries
NRC Industries announced a mid-cycle update to its CSR65 wrecker, redefined through an engineering approach driven by advanced digital simulation, high-strength steel, and real-world testing.
At the heart of the CSR65 is a completely redesigned boom. Extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) covering a wide range of lifting scenarios led to a new optimized profile that controls stress concentrations and increases overall rigidity without compromising design or structural weight resulting in 50% more lifting capacity at full extension. Larger and stronger cylinders also deliver up to 16% more lifting power.
The CSR65 introduces wider and stronger outriggers with an additional 4 inches of spread, pushing the limits of stability even under heavy loads. Nylatron™ wear pads on the legs makes operations smoother and more durable.
The CSR65 now comes standard with Lift-IQ™ technology, a real-time decision-support system providing operators with a maneuver planner and a dynamic load chart. This interface allows operators to work smarter and safer on every job.
NRC redesigned its storage solutions with a left-hand toolbox that’s 40% larger and fully customizable to each operator’s needs.
“Every improvement on the CSR65 comes from rigorous simulation, engineering, and testing,” said Normand Caron, Engineering Manager at NRC Industries. “More power, more stability, more technology, and more space — each upgrade was designed to give operators a tangible advantage. This CSR65 isn’t just an evolution; it’s a statement of what NRC stands for: the best in heavy-duty recovery equipment.”
The evolved CSR65 is available through NRC’s network of authorized dealers.
