Massachusetts Tow Truck Driver Dies in Traffic Crash

The driver of a tow truck has died and a passenger injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Milford, Mass.
According to news reports, the tow truck was northbound on Route 495 at Exit 50 when it veered out of the traffic lane and traveled over a median guardrail, leaving the truck cab dangling over Route 16, which was then closed for several hours.
The 24-year-old tow truck driver from Taunton, Mass., was taken to Milford Hospital where he later died. The passenger was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
