Vermont Tow Operator Struck, Injured in Hit-and Run

A tow operator was struck by a vehicle and injured Monday, Nov. 22, at approximately 8:30 p.m. while loading a vehicle onto a flatbed tow truck on Vermont Route 12 in Northfield, Vt.
According to news reports, the vehicle, which did not stop at the scene, is a 2009-2015 black Volkswagen Tiguan with a missing passenger side mirror.
The male operator was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Police are investigating the incident, and ask that anyone with information contact the Northfield Police Department.
