New NRC Car Carrier Innovations

NRC Industries has announced several innovations to its car carrier line.

New Roller Guide

NRC Industries released a revised and improved roller guide for its car carriers. Cast and galvanized for corrosion resistance, the new roller guide underwent a complete redesign to optimize all its components, boost its durability and optimize strength/weight ratio. The angle and dimensions of the pulleys were optimized to better guide the cable, reduce wear and increase durability.

 

NRC Safe Loader ™

The NRC Safe Loader is a new option that allows operators to use NRC carrier wheel-lift system in an easier and safer way. Also known as a self-loader, it extends, adjusts and lifts the vehicle into place. The NRC system consists of a low-mounted rearview camera and flexible in-cab control that make it possible to perform a tow job without the operator leaving the truck cab.

The Safe Loader is currently available on the 10TB and 20TB series.

Fully extended 10TB: 1800 lbs.

Fully extended 20TB: 3500 lbs.

 

New Composite Light Pylon

NRC’s new light pylon was designed to reflect the look of NRC equipment. Made of a composite material, it’s lightweight, adjustable and durable with low thermal expansion.
