Multi-Vehicle Crash in California Critically Injures LAPD Officer and Tow Operator

A Los Angeles police officer and a tow operator were critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday, June 3 in the city’s South Central district. A news report stated that eight people were injured crash. An LAPD SUV, a tow truck and and at least one other vehicle were involved.
The officer was pinned in the wreckage and had to be extricated by fire rescue personnel. The remaining victims were described as having minor injuries.
The crash occurred just before 10 pm. along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The victims of the crash have yet to be identified.
