Mandic Motors, Inc. press release:

Mandic Motors, Inc. of Huntington Beach, CA, is a longtime towing and roadside assistance company that dates back to 1939. Mandic Motors has also been the City’s official contracted towing company for the Huntington Beach Police Department almost that long.

However, there’s a newer relationship that’s been developed between Mandic Motors and the California State Parks and their State Rangers.

Within Mandic’s 90,000 square foot towing yard, training for the Rangers includes the use of Ranger dogs and the sniffing out of narcotics and weapons from cars.

“We utilize cars that have been abandoned or lost at auction to be used for Ranger training,” said Bob Mandic, the president and former Huntington Beach mayor.

Additionally, over the years, the company has donated cars to S.W.A.T teams to be used for high-risk car stop training, and to area high school programs for use in the “Every 15 Minutes” educational program, fighting drunk driving.

Mandic Motors, Inc. has a long history of service to its community and has been recognized by industry with awards such as the American Towman Ace Award, and multiple national awards from the Automobile Club of Southern California.

“We have been blessed to be in a position to make a difference as a company and are able to contribute to the industries that hold us to a higher standard,” said Mandic.
