Man Sought in Deadly Hit-and-Run Has Previous Arrest Warrant

The man suspected of driving the BMW that crashed into a tow operator, his customer and the operator’s tow truck on June 10 in Tucson, Ariz., has a warrant out for his arrest for violating parole in an aggravated assault case.

Police Justin Lang, 32, is being sought by police in connection with the deadly hit-and-run. Lang was reportedly driving the BMW at a high rated of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into the tow truck as operator Richard “Rick” Struble, 57 and customer Ramon Murillo III, 32, were standing in a parking lot.

Murillo died at the scene and Struble died at a local hospital.

Lang reportedly fled the scene on foot. The warrant for his arrest was issued February 25 when he absconded from parole in the aggravated assault case. Reports state he has also served prison time for vehicle theft and a drug charge.
