Custom DTU

On the road for LW’s Towing in Frisco, Texas, is this 2012 W900L Kenworth with a Holmes DTU detachable towing unit. The truck has an Eaton fuller RTLO 2018B transmission and a HERD Texas Edition bumper.

Custom items include chrome toolboxes with LED lighting, LEDs throughout the truck, and light bar. The custom paint scheme includes the trademark checkerboard graphics on LW’s Towing trucks. This unit has a matching attachable 53-foot custom Landoll trailer with a matching paint scheme.

LW’s Towing has been in business for over 33 years, offering light- to heavy-duty towing and recovery, transport, roadside assistance and more. The company’s 2007 Kenworth T-300/Vulcan 894 won the medium-duty category of the 2011 Shine ‘n Star contest and was featured on the April 2012 Tow Times cover.
