Peterbilt Motors Company has been recognized by Women In Trucking as a top workplace for women in the transportation industry.

“Peterbilt is committed to championing the development of women leaders and cultivating a diverse workforce. We are honored to receive recognition from Women In Trucking for our efforts,” said Jason Skoog, PACCAR Vice President and Peterbilt General Manager.

This is the second time Peterbilt has received the award, which promotes the accomplishments of companies that are focused on the employment of women in the trucking and transportation fields.

Through its Diversity Council created in 2016, Peterbilt committed to recruiting, developing and promoting a diverse workforce while providing equal opportunities and unique career paths for employees. Their mission is to cultivate an inclusive environment that fosters creativity, productivity and mutual respect where all people feel they belong and can succeed.

Under the Diversity Council, the Peterbilt Women’s Initiative Network (PBWIN) currently has more than 100 members who are dedicated to championing the empowerment of women at Peterbilt through education, support, networking, personal growth and development opportunities.

Peterbilt joined Women In Trucking in 2016 and became a Gold Level Partner in 2018.
