A tow operator from Indiana County, Pa., was killed when his tow truck rolled over him during a repossession early Tuesday, Feb. 18, in McKeesport, Pa.

Andrew Sester, 42, of Lucerne Mines was pronounced dead at 4:54 a.m. According to Allegheny County police, Sester, who worked for International Recovery Systems had stopped to secure the pickup under tow and alert his dispatch center but it appeared he did not put the tow truck in park and it rolled backwards over him.

After not hearing from Sester, the dispatch center sent another truck and the driver found him under the rear wheels of the tow truck, a news report stated.

Police and paramedics were dispatched to the location on Monongahela Avenue at 4:45 a.m.

Police do not suspect foul play. The tow truck, that was equipped with video which recorded the incident, and the pickup, will be inspected.
