The Women of the Towing & Recovery Association of America (WTRAA) awarded Wendy Wallace of Tri-County Towing, Casselberry, Fla., its 2018 Tow Woman of the Year award at a ceremony during the Florida Tow Show. Wallace is vice president of the towing company and has demonstrated a passion for the towing and recovery industry.

In addition to her duties at Tri-County, Wallace is an officer in at least five organizations, including secretary of WTRAA and first vice president of the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce. At Tri-County Towing, for which she has worked for six years, Wallace has implemented new software and streamlined operations to reduce paperwork.

The Tow Woman of the Year award is the highest honor WTRAA bestows on its members. The qualifications for nominees are: She must be an outstanding leader in the towing industry, making a difference in her business, her community and the towing and recovery sector, both at the state and national level.
