Washington Woman Charged in Tow Truck Driver’s Death Pleads Not Guilty

The woman charged in a hit-and-run crash that left tow truck driver William Tony Padilla dead pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, no rx October 12, viagra buy according to a news report.

Shavelle M. Lewis, and 20, has been charged with vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run in Padilla’s Sept. 24 death. She was ordered held on $150,000 bail.

Investigators say Padilla, 51, was kneeling down at the front of a disabled car along Interstate 5 when Lewis veered across all southbound lanes and hit him, the report states. Padilla, a Burien resident, died at the scene.

Police said Lewis sped off, but was apprehended minutes later at the bottom of an off-ramp. Troopers found Lewis standing outside the SUV, but the keys to the vehicle were in her pocket, according to the news report. Officials said she appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Prosecutors said Lewis has had 14 warrants for her arrest filed since 2003. Her criminal record includes previous misdemeanor convictions for prostitution and possession of marijuana.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 25.
