Virginia Association of Towing and Recovery Operators, Inc. is holding a paperwork training seminar and roundtable for towing office personnel, towing managers, owners, dispatchers and anyone who deals with everyday towing procedures, according to a VATRO press release.
The seminar will be held Aug. 30 at 6 p.m., at the Woodland Place, 935 Niagara Road. Vinton, Va.
The cost for the course with dinner included is $50 per person. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the seminar will take place at 6:45 p.m. All towing members and non-members are welcome.
The short seminar will present new ways to deal with paperwork and provide answers to DMV questions. It will also explain how to get online with the DMV to obtain transcripts, as well as provide a sample determination worksheet to learn about responsibilities concerning the Department of Justice’s and the Bureau of Justice’s Assistance new, mandatory policy clarification for the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System.
The association is also presenting a premier auditor, Charles LeFew, from the DMV to describe what he does when he audits a towing company. Questions will be welcome, with many experts on hand to help.
