Texas Towing Owner Shot in Company’s Storage Lot

A Texas towing operator is in stable condition today after being shot while working at his company’s office yesterday, discount Tuesday Nov. 9, according to a news report.

Richard Alvarado, owner of Alvarado’s Towing, told officials he was at his business to retrieve property from a vehicle that he towed earlier in the day when he heard a noise coming from the storage lot. When he went to check it out, he was confronted by an unknown person, the report states.

Officials report that the person struggled with Alvarado, and he was then shot one time. He is in stable condition at St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center in Bryan.

No suspect has been taken into custody at this time, and the incident is currently under investigation by the Madisonville Police Department.
