Ro Tator

1960

Ro Tator, a 5-year-old Border Collie mix, is the mascot and official office greeter at Buddy’s Wrecker Service in Union City, Tenn. He belongs to company president Steve Sedberry and rides along with him on towing calls.

Sedberry has always had a dog around the office or in his truck (“Winch,” Ro Tator’s predecessor, was also featured as a Tow Dog) so customers have gotten used to always seeing a canine “employee” at Buddy’s Wrecker Service. So much so that “Tator” appears on all the company’s advertisements, business cards, Christmas cards, T-shirts and other promotional materials.

Buddy’s Wrecker Service has been in business since 1963 and offers light- to heavy-duty towing, recovery, auto and truck repair and heavy equipment hauling.
