One Tow Truck Operator Dead, One Wounded in Separate Shootings

One tow truck operator is dead and another wounded in two shootings early Friday, dosage May 6.

In Northwest Dallas, tadalafil Texas, information pills a towing operator and his co-worker were preparing to tow an illegally parked car from an apartment building in the 3300 block of Chapel Creek Drive at approximately 4 a.m. when a gunman approached and opened fire, a news report said. The 28-year-old passenger in the tow truck was killed. The driver of the tow truck returned fire, killing the gunman identified as Israel Esparza, 36. The suspect’s illegally parked vehicle had been towed earlier, the report said.

Richard Molina of Longhorn Wrecker told a local news station that no words were exchanged before the shooting. The suspect’s sister-in-law said Esparza had decided to stay at the apartment complex the previous night, but did not have a parking pass. There had been tension at the complex over vehicle towing, the report said.

In North Philadelphia, Pa., two tow truck operators were repossessing a Jeep at approximately 5 a.m. when a man approached with a silver revolver and demanded money, a news report said. One of the tow truck operators fought with the suspect, described by police as a black male, and the operator was shot in the shoulder and hand. The suspect fled on foot.

The tow truck operator’s co-worker drove him to Temple Hospital where is in stable condition, the report said. Police are searching for the suspect.
