towtruckksfortotsWorldwide Equipment Sales, salve LLC Tow Trucks for Tots parade is Sunday November 10, site 2013.

Tow Trucks for Tots has 3 main goals:

• To bring a much needed toy to a very deserving boy or girl.

• To further enhance the image of the towing industry.

• To break the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest tow truck parade.

Tow trucks from all over the United States will begin linning up at 5 a.m. at the Hollywood Casino Joliet, site IL. The parade will leave Hollywood Casino at 9 a.m. sharp. The parade will travel (West) onto route 6, to I-55 (North) to Harlem Ave (South) to Toyota Park, Bridgeview, IL. At Toyota Park the trucks will be lined up and on display for the public to see. The media has coined this parade “The caravan of chrome”.

Worldwide Equipment Sales, LLC Tow Trucks for Tots, is a nonprofit 501C that collects toys for children at Christmastime. It is made up of mostly family-owned towing companies. Companies from all over the United States will participate in the event. Trucks in the parade range from $10,000 dollars to over a million dollars. Each year we pick non-profits organizations to donate the toys to. This year we are donating to the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation whose mission “is to take an active role in helping those less fortunate to find stability while providing positive opportunities needed to live their lives with dignity and pride”. We will also be donating some toys to Mark Your Mark, the Mark Stachely Pediatric Cancer Foundation, whose mission is “To promote the vision and ideals of Mark Staehely, and to carry on his legacy of love, compassion and service”. Toys will also be donated to the NFL Alumni who has retired ball players deliver toys to children in hospitals.

This year we are expecting over 500 trucks which will break our current Guinness Book of World Records. At Toyota Park we will have a live band, Tow Truck Olympics (where towers compete against each other hooking up cars for the fastest time), food, prizes, NFL player autographs and much more.
