Arizona Bill Would Add Tow Trucks to State’s Move Over Law

A bill that would add tow truck operators to Arizona’s “Move Over” law is now in the Arizona House of Representatives. The current law requires motorists to make a lane change or slow down when approaching emergency or law enforcement vehicles. According to a news report, physician Senate Bill 1133 would include “any stationary vehicle” displaying flashing or warning lights, page including tow trucks, viagra sale to the law.

The bill has currently moved to House Transportation and Rules committees. It passed the Senate by a 28 to 1 vote on Feb. 8. AAA Arizona said a tow truck driver and a motorist were killed on Route 202 near Phoenix in Aug. 2008, and two tow truck operators were killed in 2006.
