All For One, One For All

The Three Musketeers was an adventure novel set in France that told the tales of the three most formable members and good friends of the Musketeers of the Guard. Throughout their adventures (which reads like a modern-day soap opera) their motto was “all for one, one for all.”

In other words, no matter what happens, we’re in this together and we have your back.

Wouldn’t it be great if the members of the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Towing used this motto too? Wouldn’t the towing and recovery industry look much better as a united front to face the challenges out there — driver shortages, the motoring public’s image of the industry, increasing insurance premiums, safety on the roadways, the list goes on – no matter if you have one truck or 100?

As I listened to the biographies of the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame inductees this year I was again reminded of the passion and the support they  have for this industry. The messages from each of them was clear: Yes they got involved to help themselves and their companies, but they also got involved to better the industry — each in his or her own unique way.

The Towing and Recovery Association of Ohio (TRAO) also honored 41 industry leaders during their 40th year anniversary and tow show this year. TRAO said these industry leaders “possess the ability to effect change, serve as role models and mentors to younger operators in our industry”.

Let’s take the motto all for one, one for all, and add your name to the 41 honored industry leaders to reach a goal of 4100 or more.
